Truline Vinyl Retaining Wall at The Turtle Hospital

The Turtle Hospital located in Marathon, Florida offers rescue, rehab and release services for turtles. Their facility has a 160,000-gallon salt water pool, two 30,000-gallon tanks, and 23 individual tanks to rehabilitate threatened and endangered sea turtles.

The 160,000-gallon salt water pool, formerly the swimming pool for motel guests, now houses sea turtles that are permanently disabled.  This marine rehabilitation pool with coral rock was in need of bulkhead repair or replacement.  A new Truline vinyl sheet pile retaining wall was installed because of the flat surface, longevity and ease of installation in a small space.  The flat surface is aesthetically-pleasing and safe for the turtles.  For more information about the Truline wall system, visit www.truline.us.

The Turtle Hospital is a small non-profit organization dedicated to the rehabilitation of endangered sea turtles and is entirely supported by the interest and generosity of people like you. The Turtle Hospital educates the public through outreach programs as well as offers guided tours.  For more information, visit http://www.turtlehospital.org/
