Flood Protection Barrier Wall in Texas
Project: New beachfront hotel and pool needed a cutoff wall to surround and protect it from erosion in the event of a significant storm surge. 20 ft. piles needed to be driven to grade in layers of firm/ very firm cohesive clay 10 ft. below the top layer of sand.
Solution: After considering corrugated sheets and concrete panels, Truline was selected due to performance and strength from reinforced concrete fill, quicker installation time and ability to use standard methods to install in the firm soil.
Cost Savings: According to the contractor, due to the firm soil conditions, Truline was more cost effective and practical than other materials, which resulted in savings and bringing the project in on budget and on time.
