TrulineWall

Truline’s revolutionary vinyl form makes a true line in the sand compared to other options. This unique design provides engineering versatility for projects such as:

  • SEAWALLS/BULKHEADS
  • CUT-OFF WALLS
  • RETAINING WALLS
  • COFFER DAMS
  • BARRIER WALLS
  • REVETMENTS
  • SPORT FIELD FENCING
  • LANDSCAPING
  • DEFENSE BARRIERS
  • MILITARY PROTECTION
  • FLOOD PROTECTION
  • AND MORE!
Truline is typically installed for permanent use. However, the forms can be placed for temporary needs and reused again.

APPLICATION VERSATILITY

Standard: Truline is an excellent alternative for traditional applications where corrugated vinyl, steel or wood have been used in seawalls/bulkheads. Truline offers strength, durability, a long usable life, an attractive UV-protected smooth non-industrial appearance, and quicker installations, plus eliminates “walking” during installation.

Cast-in-Place: Truline can be used as a hybrid concrete wall in place of traditional concrete panels, minimizing heavy equipment and property tear up, providing faster installations and a warranty unequaled by concrete panel walls. With the strength of concrete when placed within our forms combined with the benefits of vinyl, the Truline cast-in-place wall eliminates the unsightly corrosion, surface rust, spalling and fracturing that occurs with traditional concrete panel walls.

Pinning: Where soil conditions and heavy rock have previously discouraged vinyl as a consideration making more expensive materials necessary, the Truline unique patented design now allows for installation using pin piles within the Truline cells significantly reducing project costs.

Barrier/Cut Off: With or without the use of hydrophilic sealers, Truline’s non-permeable, double-wall, dual-interlock design can help to contain, prevent or manage horizontal flow through the flexibility of filling our sheets with concrete, gravel, sand, etc.

Flood Protection: Although designed for permanent installation, Truline can also be used in temporary flood protection situations where diversion of flood waters is needed rather than using labor intensive sand bags. Sand bags once exposed to contaminated flood waters must be properly disposed, where Truline can be simply pressure cleaned and put away for another use. Based upon the Army Corps of Engineers published recommendations for sand bag quantities needed to create protection for one-time use, Truline will require significantly less fill and provide a major reduction in time and labor.

Force & Anti-Terrorism (FP/AT) Protection: Walls can be designed using the specified fill material within the sheets to protect against blasts, ballistics and shrapnel. Truline panels are ideal for rapid deployment as well as being light and mobile for easy handling in the field by troops.

Sports Fields: Truline is being installed as a perimeter fence surrounding soccer/ football fields at community parks in Europe to contain play within the field, maximize number of playing fields within the park areas, and to protect the youth.

Standard installation techniques, procedures, tools and equipment used with traditional corrugated sheet piles are used with Truline as well. Refer to our Typical Installation Procedures for details.

INNOVATIVE DUAL-INTERLOCKING DESIGN
Truline’s innovative dual-interlocking design provides many benefits, such as:
  • Provides for twice as many locking joints, especially important for superior joint strength on curves and turns
  • Creates double wall protection Will not “unzip” in the lock/joints above or below surface
  • Superior control of joint spacing Improved ability to control straightness of the wall during installation
ENVIRONMENTALLY-FRIENDLY &
SUSTAINABLE MULTI-USE COMPONENTS

Made of 94.6% post-industrial recycled materials, the versatile system of multi-use components allows for various configurations, turns and radius while maintaining joint integrity, in addition to, the ability to configure wall returns to protect the new wall from failure of adjacent walls.

 DESIGN WITH CONFIDENCE

Not only do we provide theoretical engineering specifications like competitive products, but you can be reassured with our published actual third-party tested specifications. Truline has been tested by a premier, independent firm with a reputation for accuracy and integrity that attracts the world’s top manufacturers of building products. In addition, Truline provides:

  • 50-year limited warranty
  • We manufacture our product ensuring complete control over design, production and delivery
  • Vinyl benefits including UV resistant, will not rust or corrode, non-chalking, chemical resistant, and virtually maintenance free
  • Smooth, flat appearance that enhances property investment and reduces noise and scour (versus corrugated profiles)

SEAWALLS & BULKHEAD DESIGN

Why Truline?

WHY TRULINE vs.
CORRUGATED VINYL
  • Double, dual-interlocking design is inherently stronger than single-wall vinyl corrugated piling..
  • No “walking” of sheets while driving.
  • No “unzipping” of joints below or above surface.
  • No need to pair sheets prior to driving.
  • Helps reduce noise and scouring than can occur with corrugated design.
  • Provides a more refined appearance to enhance real estate.
  • Design provides for a more precise determination of amount and cost of fill required.
  • Reduces or eliminates the need to add wales when used with a concrete top cap.
  • Less labor and faster process to form for concrete top caps.

Traditional corrugated,
industrial look for vinyl
WHY TRULINE vs.
CONCRETE PANELS
  • Eliminates surface rust and corrosion
  • Eliminates fracturing and chipping.
  • Eliminates soil erosion through the joints from vertical movement of concrete panels due to settling.
  • Provides a permanent form to cast-in-place.
  • Has a greater service life, typically 60% longer plus a longer warranty.
  • Has UV protection.
  • Accommodates radiuses and corners with dual-interlocking joints while maintaining strength integrity.
  • Eliminates cure time—no waiting 3-4 weeks for panels to cure.
  • Reduces or eliminates heavy equipment to transport and stage, resulting in less property tear up and reduced restoration costs
  • Structural integrity of joints from top to bottom.
